Priory Event Details:
For our speaking event on January 24th Dr. Love will share and witness to the wisdom, power, and creativity learned in Black Freedom Struggles. This “moment” we are living in poses critical questions for our individual and collective liberation. Dr. Love will call us to widen our vision of hope and to invite generative disruption to the patterned ways of thinking and acting which block us from healing and freedom. Drawing on stories and strategies from pillars like bell hooks, Cornel West, Octavia Butler, Paolo Freire, James Baldwin, and Audre Lorde, Dr. Love will amplify and center pathways towards deeper racial integrity and community.

We are THRILLED to host Dr. Love at Priory, as this will be her only West Coast in-person visit this year. We will release tickets to the public on December 15th, if you’d like to pre-register for this event and reserve your spot, please use THIS LINK or QR code in the event poster.

We hope to see you there! Any questions, please contact Shannon Vanderpol , Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (svanderpol@savim.net).
